The Story

Bumalik ang isang baguhang manunubos na si Mina sa bayan ng Pasig – isang marahas na lungsod sa gitna ng mapaminsalang digmaan sa Pilipinas. Sa kaniyang pagdating, sinalakay siya ng mga tulisan at di inaasahang maligtas ni Dante, isang madirigmang esclabo.

‘Di kalaunan, natuklasan ni Mina na isang wanted kriminal ang kaniyang tagapagligtas na si Dante at may malaking pabuya sa kaniyang ulo. Habang ang ibang manunubos ay nagsisimula na ring maghabol kay Dante, unti-unting nahihila si Mina sa mapanganib na misteryo na pumapalibot sa nakaraan ni Dante.

Ngayon, kailangan niyang tuklasin ang lihim ng esclabong ito at magpasya kung saan nakasalalay ang kaniyang katapatan.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Melvin Calingo AKA Taga-ilog

Melvin Calingo, better known by his pen name Taga-Ilog, is a Filipino comic book creator, writer, illustrator, colorist, and letterer. He gained recognition in the local comics industry for his work on Pasig, a post-apocalyptic action series published under Culture Crash Comics. Known for his unique style and creativity, he often depicts himself as a character with a bucket on his head, a signature image that fans easily recognize.


Aside from writing and illustrating, Calingo has also worked on short animated films and contributed to international projects like Destiny’s Hand. He co-created the comic series Kanto Inc. with his wife, Joanah Tinio Calingo, and continues to be a respected figure in the Philippine comics scene for his storytelling and artistic talent.
